Sustainable Development Planning. 

We need to planning for sustainable development. Sustainable development is all about making positive growth for our generation and the future life. on 10 Sept 2013 new semester beginning and we learn Contribution of City Development Strategies (CDS) as a strategic urban planning approach toward Sustainable evelopment from guest lecturer Dr. Seyyed Mostafa Rasoolimanesh. Sustainable development is a response to the challenges faced by the world today. Rapid population growth led to some changes in our earth. Changes lead to economic problems, social and environmental. What is left for future generation if changes and damage continuously occur.

Refer to the picture below our forests destroyed indiscriminately. Then it causes an increase in world temperatures and homeless animals.

Therefore to preserve the environment from contaminated the programme such as reuse, and recycle Reduce introduced. USM is one of the university that encourage programs to preserve the environment by providing isolation container materials such as glass, plastic and paper such as figure 3. According to UN-Habitat (1999-2000), good environmental management of one of the ways to obtain sustainable development because it reducing pollution and balanced settlement structural.

However without awareness of all effort a waste of time. Plus one of company in Malaysia, therefore took the initiative from instilling spirit love for the environment starts from an early age by having drawing contest ' Sayangi Alam Sekitar' (refer figure 4).  Many programs have been organized to preserve biodiversity in Malaysia which isAman Jaya Tree Planting Program: Future Carbon Stocking and Cleaner Environment in a Boidiversity Forest officiated by ' Duli Yang Maha Mulia Pemangku Raja Perak Daru; Ridzuan (Refer Figure 5)'.
